Basically, you just want your toon to walk backwards when pressing "s" or "down_arrow"? Err, ok, that would be fun to be able to walk backwards, but won't change anything in gameplay, right? In that case, I guess I can deal with my character only being able to walk forward...

More random for elemental "to weapon attack" bonuses.
I rather see more armor sets and weapons to the game. I only see my character's face during the character selection menu. Since it's expensive to rework the facial feature, I think it'll be nice if it's spent on new armors, weapons, and skills.

My problem is that the weapons you mentioned are truly ranged, they don't resemble melee weapons at all. When I think of melee weapons with a bit of range, I think of long halberds and such, not boomerangs and javelins.

I love my ranger and am so tired of getting nothing in the area of skills whenever a new patch comes out. With the exception of the Stiki Wiki Glue Gun , which has some potential, we have gotten screwed in the item department too. We got ice arrow with no weapon to back it up with, Montezuma's Revenge, a skill that you have to run around in circles in order to make useful, Barf O' Rama, which is severely underpowered to make anything other than fodder take any damage. Yes we rangers certainly do need to see some love. Mages and Fighters have so many choices while rangers are stuck pretty much running with one type of build. I have been saying the same thing for many many months but hopefully another voice will reach the ears of the Dev's and something will be done about it.

I like the idea of multi-shot but not really the "buff" part. I think it might be better if it's similar to cleave: few seconds cool-down and shoot multi-arrow.

I love it... I ran shadow queen once and felt it was a waste of time. If they beef it up with more loot it would be an extremely fun boss.

If you'd read the Dungeon Runners Forums, you'd see that Stephen clearly has stated that Dungeon Runners is not shutting down. Then again, that's pretty much what Congressman Barney Frank said about Fanny Mae and Freddie Mac back in June, prior to them 'going under'... I would HOPE that in the event the game does 'shut down', the people working on Dungeon Runners would *cough* *cough* somehow manage to, oh...I don't know... *cough* *cough* maybe actually want to work with some other people *cough* *cough* in creating something similarly different, geared toward a more...profitable bottom line. Comments, thoughts, ideas, or um...whatever can be directed to: bigfatklingon@yahoo.com They definately are some talented folks working on DR, and I'm damn impressed with what they've done, and I'm sure they'll put all that talent to good use, whether for NCSoft or somewhere else. Free is nice for the players, but it doesn't pay the bills, and even using the FREE game as a spiffy marketing tool, Dungeon Runners is still suffering major bleeding. :o(

Re: Ripper's comments-- I don't see why they couldn't just simply code it to CHECK to see if the item would fit into the bank page before it's allowed to attempt moving it, and prompt an error message if it can't move it, and not allow items moved thusly to be accidentally dropped. I think this is a great idea--especially for people who (as stated above) might be moving a lot of small items (rings, etc) around to alt characters for storage.

Normally, mind you, this would be a stupid, ultimately empty request- and perhaps it still is- but considering that DR has instanced dungeons and so forth, it's not entirely out of possibility for it to literally be an offline game, should it come to it that is.

My idea of this skill may be a bit diffent, Your compleatly invisible and cannont be attacked, but if you are currently taking dmg from poison or Soul Rend etc. The invis will break. Attacks made while in stealth do x3 dmg, but stealth dissipates after your attack. Also, you move at 50% of your normal speed.

What advantage would this be other than being able to get an extra attack in or two before you're swarmed? As it is, you almost have to stand face to face to get that initial mob recognition.

How about if we DR up the weapons and make them more humourous. 1. Instead of throwing spear we get to throw a pickle speer 2. Throwing knaves or butter knives 3. I am not creatibe enough atm to come up with a replacement for boomarang.

I think that this would be pretty sweet. the mechanics are already there with ice shard skill and plowing through multiple enemies at once instead of just using TFF would be a nice change. But i think at skill lvl 10, 10 arrows may be a lil to extreme, more like 5 IMO

I actually really like this idea mainly because as you said it creates more variation in an individual class. What first comes to mind after reading your recommendations on the possible weapons is the throwing axeman in the age of empires series as they have decreased range and are classed kinda like a melee fighter. The weapons are already here like those little daggers and so forth (except for the boomerang and since im an Aussie it would be pretty cool), its just the mechanics that would need to be done oh yeah and this is my first post so if my comments dodge well my bad. 5 Karls!!
